Shipping and Delivery Policy
Heavy Goods Logistics
Shipping stone and masonry supplies requires careful coordination. We operate a specialized fleet capable of handling the weight of historic stonework, marble, and concrete blocks. Our standard delivery service includes curbside offloading using tail-lift vehicles. Please ensure that your site is accessible for a heavy goods vehicle before scheduling your delivery. If the driver determines that the delivery site is unsafe or inaccessible, the materials will be returned to our yard, and you will be charged an additional re-delivery fee.
Delivery Timescales
Standard delivery for in-stock garden statues and tools typically takes 3 to 7 working days. Bespoke stone projects, including cut-to-size paving, require longer lead times depending on the complexity of the stone cutting process. We will provide an estimated date of arrival once your order is processed. We prioritize the safe transit of our stone products; therefore, we wrap all pallets in protective shielding to prevent movement during transport.
Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of the items and the distance from our facility to your UK delivery address. Because we deal in high-density materials like marble and solid blocks, shipping costs are non-negotiable. We offer a collection service for customers who prefer to manage their own transport. If you choose to collect your stone or tools from our store, we will provide assistance with loading the items onto your vehicle using our lifting equipment.
Damaged in Transit
While we take every precaution to prevent damage, accidents can occur. You must inspect your delivery immediately upon arrival. Any damages to stone products or tools must be noted on the delivery manifest and reported to our office within 24 hours. We require photographic evidence of the damaged goods and the packaging to process a claim. We will prioritize the replacement of damaged stone to ensure your project is completed as soon as possible.
